2019 SPESA Executive Conference
Join us October 29-30 in New Orleans for the 2019 SPESA Executive Conference and learn how the sewn products industry is becoming Better, Faster, and Closer.
Check out the full agenda here, and speaker list here. You can also see who's attending here.
This year’s conference will feature two keynote speakers from opposite ends of the political spectrum: Acting Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration Chris Pilkerton and political commentator and icon James Carville.
The conference will also include interactive sessions with the audience on topics such as workforce development and supply chain disruption and three panels of industry experts discussing current and future manufacturing trends in key geographic regions:
- Reshoring, Near-shoring, and What it Means to be “Made in U.S.A.” – Today’s consumers want customization, made-to-order products, and a good story. Speakers on this panel will discuss whether or not reshoring is right for your company and how to make it work.
- Sewn Products Equipment and Suppliers of the Americas – That’s what SPESA is all about, and this panel is all about the opportunities and challenges that come with manufacturing sewn products in North, Central, and South America.
- Mitigating Your China Exposure – Whether it’s high labor costs, tariff wars, or other concerns, mass production in China is becoming an increasingly challenging option for many manufacturers and suppliers. Learn how other companies are dealing with this issue and explore alternative strategies for your business.
Each panel and hot topic session will provide ample opportunity for you to ask questions and gain the information you need on the topics most important to you.
Register now before space runs out!
This event is open to SPESA members, their customers, and anyone interested in learning more about the future of the sewn products industry.
