Monday Member Spotlight: CGS
It's time for a Monday Member Spotlight!
SPESA member CGS (Computer Generated Solutions) is an applications, learning, and outsourcing company supporting clients’ most fundamental business activities across the fashion, apparel, healthcare, retail, financial services, hospitality, technology and telecommunications industries, as well as others.
Phil Friedman started CGS in New York City in 1984 with five people, providing professional IT services. Today, the company has grown to over 7,500 employees across North America, Latin America, Europe, The Middle East and Asia, delivering Business Applications, Enterprise Learning and Outsourcing services to customers in 45 countries around the globe.
Have you heard of BlueCherry®? One of CGS's most prominent products, the BlueCherry Enterprise Suite allows fashion, apparel and footwear companies to control their processes start to finish — planning, design and product development, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and sales functions. These end-to-end capabilities enable brands to efficiently manage everything concept-to-consumer for improved speed to market and enhanced competitiveness.
We have mentioned CGS quite a bit recently because BlueCherry leader Paul Magel — along with several other industry experts — will be speaking at our upcoming Advancements in Manufacturing Technologies Conference August 24th in Raleigh.
Thank you CGS for being a SPESA member! We look forward to seeing you in Raleigh!
