New SPESA Member: Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Sewing Machines
SPESA is proud to introduce another new member! Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Sewing Machines (ISM) is an industry leader in manufacturing and supplying industrial sewing equipment. This includes a wide range of programmable sewing machines, flatbed lockstitch machines, industrial sewing machine motor kits, clamping solutions for its programmable machines, and genuine sewing machine parts. Whether providing the right equipment for the projects demanded or providing technical support and training, Mitsubishi Electric ISM takes pride in serving manufacturers.
A global brand, the company’s extensive network includes more than 200 employees in its three branch offices (United States, Europe, and Asia), in addition to its factory in Japan. Its U.S. branch, located in Grapevine, Texas, is responsible for all sales, technical support, and training for businesses using its products in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
Mitsubishi Electric produces industrial sewing machines made with outstanding quality, incorporating cutting-edge technology, while also remaining very user-friendly. The new PLK-J Series machines now allow for more control than ever before. These 7-Axis and 5-Axis machine models now come standard with a multitude of new factory features – such as digital tension, hook timing, presser foot timing, trimmer stroke, self-oiling systems, and layer detection – that can increase machine productivity, decrease operator error, decrease machine downtime, and allow factory maintenance teams to make machine adjustments without conventional tools.
All of the new features are available in a wide range of programmable PLK-J Series machines sewing field sizes – making no application too big or too small for Mitsubishi Electric ISM programmable machines. The PLK-J series also comes plug and play ready for e-F@ctory communication. Utilize this new feature to get live feedback from your sewing machines (whether it is machine productivity or operator efficiency) as well as scheduling preventive maintenance (scheduling a machine for parts replacement or cleaning before a machine goes down in a product line).
Mitsubishi Electric ISM also makes a wide range of flatbed lockstitch machines (compound feed and needle feed) for standard sewing operations. Depending on the machine model, a manufacturer can choose between backtacking features, highwalk features, and trimming features on the machines. These pieces of conventional sewing equipment are designed to provide outstanding quality for light to heavy sewing applications. Furthermore, Mitsubishi Electric ISM can provide motor kits for powering industrial sewing equipment across the market. The XC-G series servo motor is recognized worldwide as the product of choice in a high function drive motor for most all lockstitch and chainstitch equipment.
Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Sewing Machines will be exhibiting the latest technology in the sewing industry at the upcoming IFAI Expo 2019 in Orlando, Florida (Booth #2117) from October 1-4 and at the upcoming Texprocess Americas 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia (Booth #1043) from May 12-14.
