Automatex Develops Fully Automated Unit to Produce Reusable Totes, Cut Down on Waste

Press Release

Major retailers and grocery chains are eliminating single use plastic bags from their locations; a strategy that will eliminate billions of plastic bags from entering into circulation each year.

Automatex Inc., a SPESA member specializing in cutting and sewing automation, has developed and manufactured a fully automated unit capable of producing reusable tote and consumer bags in fabric, with or without gussets.

“We are thrilled that our technology has become a contributing factor in the fight against PP and PPE pollution,” says Chuck de Sousa, Director of Business Development.

Automatex looks forward to welcoming Behind the Seams readers to its booth (#948) during Texprocess Americas, in Atlanta Georgia, from May 17 to 19, 2022.

This press release was issued March 22, 2022. Automatex Inc. is a member of SPESA.

SPESA members are encouraged to email news and releases to marie@spesa.org or maggie@spesa.org to be featured under Member Spotlights.
