Press Release
Macon, Georgia (August 18, 2022) – YKK (U.S.A.) Inc. has opened a health clinic for its full-time Macon manufacturing plant employees through a joint venture with Macon Occupational Medicine (MOM). These employees are now able to receive treatment on-site.
YKK USA’s HIPAA-compliant employee health clinic is open Tuesdays and Thursdays during normal working hours and offers a variety of treatments, from simple remedies for aches and pains to more complex care for conditions like diabetes and asthma. The clinic is staffed by a physician assistant and medical technologist and includes an on-site pharmacy. Patients will also be able to undergo blood work, as well as have access to rapid flu, COVID-19, strep, and pregnancy tests.
“We are so excited to be able to provide our YKK Macon team with this on-site access for their health and wellness needs,” said John Smith, president of YKK USA. “We appreciate our partnership with MOM, which has enabled us to facilitate a high level of professional care for our employees.”
As a premier provider of occupational medicine, MOM gives employees across middle and southern Georgia access to essential healthcare services. YKK believes the establishment of a workplace health clinic will significantly aid its employees’ successful health management and is in line with its Cycle of Goodness® philosophy, which states that “no one prospers without rendering benefit to others.”
